# Image Attribution

This file documents the source and usage basis for every image asset committed to `images/`.

All images are self-hosted. No hotlinking to MobyGames, Lemon64, CSDB, or any external service.

- **Format:** Resize to ≤800 px on the longest dimension and ≤200 KB before committing.
- **Usage basis:** Fair use for non-commercial fan-site preservation purposes. Each image entry below must record the source URL so attribution can be verified.

## Content Sources

This section documents biographical data, text quotes, text citations, scanned magazine references, and data points used across the site's non-image content.

**Policy:** Text excerpts are paraphrased summaries (not verbatim reproductions) for non-commercial fan-site purposes. Where a primary scan link is provided, readers can verify the coverage in the original publication. Scores cited without direct scan verification are marked with a `.card-caveat` note on the relevant page. Developer portrait images require an explicit Creative Commons licence or documented owner permission; social-media profile photos (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook) are excluded. No audio clips other than `.sid` files may be committed without a documented fair-use case.
